CERAMIC STUDIO USE APPLICATION
Participants who have attended at least one term of ceramic workshops at Pink Ember or equivalent, can apply to be a ceramic studio member. This includes access to all ceramic studio and communal areas, and personal shelving. Read below for what’s included!
Shelving with five separate, adjustable shelves (WxDxH) 83 cm x 30 cm x 226cm
Access to kiln firing $10 per kilo or full kiln hiring
Use of the wheel room with Venco and Shimpo pottery wheels
Hand building ceramics room with communal tables and chairs
Kitchenette, bathroom and courtyard
Workshop area/gallery which can be used to relax in during studio hours, and used professionally by members with a small fee
Cost: $130 per month, minimum 2 months
We are queer run, and our goal is to prioritise queer people, people of colour, women and gender diverse people when considering applicants for studio spaces. To apply for a space we ask that you align with our values and would want to contribute to our community, and to help foster a safe and communicative space. Our goal is to build a community of artists, to share skills, and to provide a fair and accessible space for artists to access community and a space to thrive.
